Chelsea Are Considering Exchanging Michy Batshuayi For Thomas Lemar.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea might be tempted to exchange Michy Batshuayi for Thomas Lemar before Liverpool or Arsenal beat them to the player’s signature.
It was reported by the Mirror that David Moyes will move for Michy Batshuayi in January, but that seems impossible as Chelsea are hoping to give Batshuayi to Monaco in order to get Thomas Lemar
Batshuayi, who has been a fringe player for Chelsea since joining the club in 2016, has played eight matches for Chelsea in all competitions so far this season.
It is also believed that Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda might be given out on loan to Monaco in order to convince the Ligue 1 Champions to release one of their best players.
Lemar 22, has been Arsenal’s target since the last transfer market. The French League Champions Monaco, reportedly turned down Arsenal’s £89million deadline day offer for the player.
Arsenal are set to improve their bid for the player as it’s more than certain that both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be leaving the Emirates stadium in January or at the end of the season as free agents.
Liverpool have also shown their interest in the player according to France media outlets during last week.
It’s yet to be seen if Monaco will consider losing one of their best players after they sold Kylian Mbappe to PSG in the last transfer market.
