Manchester United vs Liverpool 2-1 Highlights Download 10 March 2018 Premier League

Jurgen Klopp has the luxury of a fully fit squad to chose from, as he makes one change from last weekend’s victory over Newcastle. Jordan Henderson suffered a dead leg in Tuesday’s Champions League match against Porto, and while he remains available, he’s relegated to a spot on the bench today as James Milner takes his place in midfield. Georginio Wijnaldum returns after missing last week’s match with an illness, but he starts on the bench.

A knock suffered by Paul Pogba keeps him out of today’s match, as Jose Mourinho makes three changes from Monday’s win at Crystal Palace. Eric Bailly is back to full fitness and starts in the centre of defence, replacing Victor Lindelof, while Juan Mata deputises for the injured Pogba in midfield. Up top, Marcus Rashford is selected to play to the right of striker Romelu Lukaku, as Jesse Lingard drops to the bench.

SUBS: Lindelof, Lingard, Carrick, Romero, Shaw, Fellaini, Darmian.

  1. Excellent article from the reverse angle. I think that as a coach I would want my best midfielders on the ball for 85% of the game and having the 15% resting on the bench for the balance of time. Spending time forward would probably mean being on the ground for say an additional 5% of the game which must increase mental fatigue due to less time on the bench where the player is able to “switch off. Geelong are probably in a unique position where they have a new addition in Ablett who should be a permanent forward with the occasional run through the midfield. No need for Geelong to play Dangerfield forward unless it is a one off. custom essay writing
