Italian boss Antonio Conte is ready to make it difficult for Chelsea to sack him by refusing to quit the club who face paying him £9million.
The club are likely to look for a new boss in the summer after a lacklustre season from the Stamford Bridge club.
The side were knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona ad have not been fighting for the league this campaign.
Despite showing so much promise in thier Premier League title charge last year, they have been pretty poor in England this season.
They did not make it to the latter stages of the League Cup but do remain in the FA Cup and face a final with Manchester United soon.
Though, the Mirror’s John Cross claims that the Italian will not make it easy for the club to get rid of him.
The report claims that Conte will continue to publicly defend his position and explain that he is happy at the club.
Not only that, they have made it clear he will not quit the club willingly which will force the club into paying him off.
It is said that it would cost them around £9million to do that and Conte will certainly not let that escape him.
Safe to say, we haven’t heard the last of this saga between club and manager.
